Who we are
Harvey's Business Solutions LLC ("Harvey's Business Solutions," "we," "us," or "our") is a Georgia-based business consulting and administrative support company. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through harveysbusinesssolutions.com (the "Site"), why we collect it, and what choices you have.
This policy covers the Site only. It does not cover the practices of third-party companies whose services you may be referred to, each of which maintains its own privacy policy.
Information we collect
We keep collection deliberately narrow. We do not operate an account system, we do not sell products through the Site, and we do not ask for payment information on the Site.
Information you give us directly
When you submit the consultation request form, we collect:
| Name | Required. So we know who we are responding to. |
|---|---|
| Business name | Optional. Helps us understand your situation before the call. |
| Email address | Required. Our primary way of responding. |
| Phone number | Optional. Used only if you provide it and prefer a call. |
| Service needed | Optional. Routes your request to the right discussion. |
| Your message | Required. Whatever you choose to tell us about your needs. |
| Consent | Required. Your confirmation that we may contact you about your request. |
You control what goes in the message field. Please do not send Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, government identification numbers, passwords, or other sensitive identifiers through the Site form. If we need that kind of information for an engagement, we will tell you a secure way to provide it.
Information collected automatically
- IP address and submission timestamp. Recorded with each form submission for spam prevention, rate limiting, and abuse investigation.
- Standard server logs. Our hosting provider records requests to the Site, including IP address, browser user-agent, requested page, and time. These are generated by the web server, not by us.
If you contact us directly by phone or email instead of using the form, we receive whatever information you choose to share in that communication.
How we use information
We use the information described above only to:
- Respond to your consultation request and schedule a conversation.
- Provide, coordinate, and administer the services you engage us for.
- Maintain records of client communications and engagements.
- Detect, prevent, and investigate spam, fraud, and abuse of the Site.
- Operate, secure, and improve the Site.
- Comply with applicable law and respond to lawful requests.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or lead-generation companies, and we do not use it for third-party marketing. Submitting the form adds you to no mailing list.
Why we may share information
We share personal information only in these limited situations:
- Service providers we rely on to operate. Our web host and email provider process data on our behalf in order to deliver the Site and our messages. They are permitted to use it only for that purpose.
- Third-party providers you ask us to coordinate with. If you engage us to arrange registered-agent service, a commercial business address, a domain, or similar services, we share the information those providers require to set up the service in your business's name — and only with your direction. Each provider's own privacy policy governs its handling of that information.
- Legal requirements. When we are required to by law, subpoena, court order, or other lawful process, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property, or those of others.
- Business transfer. If the company is merged, acquired, or reorganized, client records may transfer as part of that transaction. This policy would continue to apply to information transferred.
Third-party services
Two third parties are involved in delivering the Site itself:
- Web hosting. The Site is hosted on shared infrastructure. Our host generates standard server logs and handles email delivery for the consultation form.
- Google Fonts. Typefaces used on the Site are loaded from Google's font servers. When your browser requests a font file, Google receives your IP address and browser information as part of that request. Google states that Google Fonts requests are not used for advertising or profiling.
The Site may link to external websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any site we do not operate. Review the privacy policy of any third-party site before providing information to it.
How long we keep information
- Consultation requests that do not become engagements. Retained while the inquiry is active and for a reasonable period afterward in case you follow up, then deleted.
- Client records. Retained for the duration of the engagement and afterward for the period required by our business, tax, and legal obligations.
- Spam-prevention records. IP-based rate-limiting data is short-lived and discarded automatically.
- Server logs. Retained according to our hosting provider's standard retention period.
You may ask us to delete your inquiry at any time. See section 09.
How we protect information
The Site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection, and our email is transmitted using authenticated, encrypted SMTP. Access to consultation requests is limited to personnel who need it to respond.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you send information to us at your own discretion. This is another reason not to send sensitive identifiers through the Site form.
Your choices and rights
You may contact us at any time to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Request that we correct information that is inaccurate.
- Request that we delete your inquiry or client record, subject to any records we are legally required to keep.
- Ask us to stop contacting you.
Send requests to [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. We honor verifiable requests of this kind regardless of whether a specific statute applies to us.
Do Not Track. Because we do not track visitors across sites, we take no action in response to browser Do Not Track signals.
Children's privacy
The Site is intended for business owners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information through the Site, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices or the law change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
